Sasha De'ath Men of circuits. Meganet's own droids. They could climb for days or leap our highest fortification in seconds and it would still end the same. Black oil and green radium spills from their veins just as blood from a real man. They meet us with gleaming deathlights and conjured fire. We meet them with iron, forged from the guts of their dead. They meet us with great beasts of metal and flame, we bring them low with meat and bone. They are circuits. We are steel. Favorite track: Cybernetic Resistance.

Jared Leckie Atmospheric, deadly, and just plain epic!

This first volume of the Scythe Trilogy includes a great story introduction with warring factions and packs some serious synth power that will rock your speakers.

This is top quality and highly recommended! Favorite track: A Clash of Steel and Circuits.

kmxexii Jon's energy augments his synth army. I love the opening "Meganet", with a sinister tone and strolling place with some quality shredding. "Frozen" is built around the repetition of a pretty powerful, cascading hook. "Everlasting" has a mournful but vast, sweeping sound. "Avenging" and "Resistance are a couple of cool outrun tracks; I really like the lo-fi edge of the second. The title track is my fave, though, with its varied guitars and a fantastic, percussive bridge section. Pretty fun stuff. Favorite track: A Clash of Steel and Circuits.
